Koby Air Purifiers and related products are manufactured only with the highest grade carbons available for adsorption of organic vapors and aerosols. Each gram of carbon contains an enormous 1500m2 internal and external adsorption surface area, which make purifiers particularly efficient for most air purification and gas phase applications. Impregnated carbons are available for removing chemical compounds, inorganic vapors, and aerosols not removed by standard activated carbon. Contact Koby Inc. HOW KOBY FILTERS AND RELATED PRODUCTS WORK

Contaminated air or gas enters purifier inlet fitting, and is dispersed evenly throughout a chamber of highly porous activated carbon granules. Harmful organic vapors, aerosols, fine sub-micron particles, and other foreign matter, are removed as contact is made with millions of carbon macropores and micropores. Specially designed filtration discs on purifier inlet and outlet absorb additional droplets of oil and water, trap fine particle, and prevent carbon migration into airstream. Air exits purifier through standard NPT fitting free of contamination.
